surely the ugliest thing ever designed for human but they are damn comfortable. btw I wear size 44. bigger the croc uglier it is.

wow this thread has both confirmed i'm not the only one who hates crocs, but also not the only one that thinks they would be good for travelling.....do you think these could be worn on a trek? I really don't want to take hiking boots...

I personally think they are the ugliest footwear invented but have yet to try them out, if they do the job then why not? (asides the fact that they are an eyesore)

No, they could not be worn for trekking and hiking. Crocs are not tight enough around your feet and do not offer enough support, especially not when walking up or downhill over rough terrrain. Some people take them on a trek to cross rivers and small streams with them, but they are not fit for regular wear. If you do not want hiking boots consider going for trekking sneakers or hiking/trekking sandals. Look at Keen, Ecco or Teva for hiking sandals.
