Hi

I have my visa interview on 19th August 2009. I am flying alone as a tourist but plan to travel through europe with my friends who are flying tonight (15th august) since they are going on a company trip. I have my hotel bookings for the entire duration of the trip (which is 3 weeks). I am a first time traveller to any place outside India. I have my documents in place (NOC from employer, salary statements, bank account statements etc) but i am a little jittery because i have been told that i fall in a high risk category since im a single girl travelling alone for the first time. Is that true? Also, can anyone please help with typical questions that i will be asked? Also, since im hoping to travel for at least 3 weeks, is that too long a period to get a visa for?

Thanks

You should have a written initiary detailing your travel plans. This initiary should be in English and part of your papers (bank statements etc). You should also include the hotel reservation and copies of your train tickets or the Eurail pass.

3 weeks is fine if you got the money, the train tickets and the hotel reservation.
