Hey there TPers, it's been awhile for me. What is everyone up to and where is everyone, and when is the next TP meet up?

I suggested Las Vegas this year. Gretchen has not confirmed any dates, so still up in the air. I pointed out that everyone wants to visit Vegas anyway, why not meet here? Cheap rooms, cheap buffets, many shows to choose from and I don't have to travel or spend any money!! Vegas gets my vote!

Haha, well I vote Victoria, BC... there aren't as many casinos, shows, or buffets as Vegas but we do have great Canadian hospitality - no wait, we aren't that friendly - maybe vegas is a good idea.

Greg, Rob (magykal1) and I have been having 'regular' meetups here in London. Anyone who's in London and fancy a meetup for a drink, meal or whatever, give us a shout here! :)

When are you coming here, Brenda

Unfortunately I'm not going to be in London any time soon...

I'm always keen for one in New Zealand! Sander and I met up here last year which was great.

If you save your pennies you can join this one, B:

New Years gathering in Sydney for TP members

-------------------

I'd love to be able to set dates but no one took me seriously when I asked for 2 round trip airline tickets to Vegas for my birthday. All I received was hysterically maniacal laughter instead. Our bank account and credits cards are still laughing at me for even thinking about it.

Maybe if I set up some charitable donation coffee cans around town we might get lucky... Just a thought...

I'd definitely need to set up some coffee cans myself. Plus it will have to be another new-years - I actually just booked tickets for Christmas/New Years in Spain

I'm meeting up with steff for cheesecake at James' in Australia in September 2010. I'm sure more people would be welcome to join for that. I'm also up for any New Zealand meet in the months right before or after that. Beyond that, I'd try to attend any European meet happening in the next 6-9 months (Hien: you should publicize those "regular" meets more (and ideally well in advance); if I can let one coincide with another excuse to hop over to London, I totally might), or in Canada in 2011 (or maybe even from October 2010 onward, depending on my eventual itinerary).

Awesome time of the year to be in Spain. How long are you going for, and what part of Spain? I actually tried to set up a meet in southern Spain/Portugal around last New Year's, but hardly anyone was biting, so ended up just going to Sevilla with two friends in February instead. Totally want to return, though.
