Most places in SE Asia have 220-240v 50hz power so your 110v electrical appliances like hairdryers and travel irons won't work there. Most laptop and camera power lead will work on both.

I have come across some bathrooms in Asia that said had an outlet labeled 110 volts but I wouldn't trust one without a voltage tester! Check your cell phone, CD player and computers to see if the charger has a range from 110 through 240V, most of them will. Other than a cell phone or maybe a computer what electric items would you be taking with you?

Good luck.
