I'm looking for a day pack or a sling pack to use on the airplane. But what I want it to include is a pouch on the strap where I could put my passport. I've found alot of bags that have a pouch that you can put your cell phone but those are too small for what I want. I find it so annoying when I'm going through security and the gates and boarding and have to show my passport each time and then have to dig it out of my bag each time. It would be so much more conveninet to have it right there on the strap. I know I could buy a seperate little passport purse but I don't want to. Has anyone seen a bag like I'm describing?

Perhaps you could make or adapt something. Just a thought.

Some of the eagle creek back / sling packs have a special security / passport pocket. They're not available in Aust. though, so I've only seen them online. They look good.

I would recommend never having your passport on a pack or strap. Always carry it in a loose zipped pocket way out of sight. I once had my bag stolen and my passport was in it. The agony afterwards was just endless.

there is always the dreaded bum bag, worn at the front of course. Stays in your lap, can be handy to slip the cheese from the meal that you just can't eat at the moment. Also you can put a pen in it to do the onboard magazine sudoku and fill in landing cards etc.
