Travelling to Cuba - need help with tour operator

Hi,

I'm thinking of joining a group tour in Cuba and am concerned about the experience level of the tour company - as they were formed in 2006. Hence this will only be their 3rd year of work.

The tour company is called Cuba Group Tours and this is the trip I'm thinking about joining:

This really would be a trip of a lifetime for me and I'm concerned about the company's pedigree, as I've not heard of them before.

I'm also not sure which would be more suitable for me as a single traveller.

My alternative is to do a Gap trip:

Can you guys with experience of Cuba please help me out here as I want to book soon. What would you do in my position? Would you go with the unknown company or join the more recognisible Gap tour? The Gap Tour is more expensive by £100GBP.

For info, I'm a 31yo male who will be travelling alone.

For just the 100 quid extra, I wouldn't take the risk and settle for a more reputable company. But I should stress that I haven't any experience with Cuba, which by all accounts is a destination where the normal laws of tourism don't apply. If these guys are true Cuba specialists, they may be a good choice. Sorry I'm not being much help am I...

Thanks for the reply. I've managed to get some feedback of other peeople as well on different forums and they seem to be a decent company.

I just now need to figure out how to spend 3 days in Cuba at the end of the trip!
