Steph, is Seville a good enough place even if that means leaving out Barcelona? Spain is the biggest temptation i have!!

Hey grover,

From your eariler responces it seems like you really want culture and sightseeing. My suggestion was mainly for the beach, though Seville is a charming place. But if you really want to explore Spain, I would go to Barcelona, maybe even as well as Seville. Or even Madrid.

Thanks so much guys! My itinerary includes locations such as CANAKKALE, Kusadasi, Denizli, Cappadocia and ofcourse 2 days in Istanbul. what sort of places are these? Any opinions?

Eroltoksoy, it seems my schedule covers none of the places you mentioned in the 'sea-sun' category. But covers the 'sight-seeing' very well. I must ask for inclusion of some sea side areas too.

T, are the places i mentioned earlier, all hilly and snowy??

Dont worry kuşadası is a great beach but december is mostly rainy and breezy in Turkey. Even some people still go to swiming in southest points like antalya and alanya , december is one of the coldest months in Turkey( 15-20 C average in coasts) . as I said before coast regions and southern parts are mostly warm but central and eastern parts are cold sometimes even snowy. for example last year I went to capapdocia in december and it was light snowy. but still great.

canakkale is where the TROY is. so you can see the ruins of Troy and lots of greco-roman ruins with the monuments of WW1.

kusadasi is one of the biggest cruise ports in mediterrainean becuse it is close to ephesus and very well protected by the means of nature.

denizli
is the city that hosts pamukkale which is a must-see point in Turkey.

cappadocia is just perfect I ve seen it too late( when i was in 28) and still regret such a shame for a Turk.

And for the Istanbul, just beware of the tricky weather . In december it can even snow or shiny like late summer.
