Elephants are the only animals to have 4 knees......although this may not be a fact at all, just a myth. However they can't jump. Possibly.

Sorry, it's a myth. Elephants have 2 knees. Their front leg joints are similar to our elbows. (Watch how they lie down - the front legs bend back rather than forward. Their "wrists" work similarly to ours giving the illusion that they have 4 knees.)

George Washington's dentures were not made of wood. They were constructed of gold, ivory, lead, human and animal teeth.

I just tried that one out with a colleague: I said, write down something. So he wrote: 'something'

Myth busted

Not busted, could it be your colleague just happens to one of the 'other' 3%?

Statues and Stuatuary:

I can never remember this one and every time I see a statue of a guy on a horse it really annoys me. So, here it is again....

If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle. If the horse has one front leg in the air the person died as a result of wounds received in battle. If the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.
