Well I learned at school that it was called Australasia. It's always confused me that one. Then again Canada, USA, Central America and South America are in fact one mass of land surrounded by sea on all four sides. So that's an island. Even bigger still is Asia which is surrounded by sea as well, although not all joined together like the American island. Mind boggling stuff. Now that's a fact. Not about the areas of land, but that it's mind boggling.

So I suppose you're right. It's not a fact. In fact, it's a fact that there were two facts there, plus that being a fact, that makes it three facts. Then again if it's a fact that it's not a fact as you quote, then is that four facts ?

I'll have both you and Utrecht know that my pet spider is a fact. A fact because he or she is still living in my keyboard and I haven't squished it by typing just yet. Give it time - could happen. Then, that will be a fact - the spider is a non-spider at that time. Fortunately, for the spider, it's still factually alive as it visited about an hour ago. (Okay, only time will tell if this typing frenzy has done it in or not.)

Fact: Male spiders are unique among all animals in having a secondary copulatory organ.

Can either of you lay claim to that one?

Howard Hughes arrived at the Desert Inn Hotel on Thanksgiving Day 1966. Hughes and his entourage rented the entire top 2 floors. The D.I. asked HH to leave in Dec. 1967 because they want to house their high rollers in the top floor suites. HH started negotiations to buy the D.I. and in March 1967, he bought the D.I. from Moe Dalitz for $13 million.

Iowa produces more corn than any other U.S. state. They also produce more corn than most countries including 3x more than that grown in Argentina.

Izzy,
In the interest of journalistic accuracy, I must report that I have never had a complaint from any of my lady partners that I only had one copulatory organ!

Nope, I can't and that's a fact.
Never doubted your spider existed either - another fact.

The only two species of animals that can see behind them without turning their heads, are parrots and rabbits.

The city of Las Vegas celebrated its 100th birthday on May 15, 2005. The event celebrated the May 15, 1905 land auction when 110 acres of land in downtown Las Vegas were auctioned off. Fremont St. was where many of the lots were located.
