I've booked my place on the train from Cusco to Aguas Calientes for Macchu Picchu and the T's & C's on the ticket say that only hand luggage is allowed, and there's no guarantee of backpacks or big bags being allowed on....
Surely this can;t be right, if we are supposed to stay in Aguas Calientes ??
Does anyone have any experience of this?
I'll doubt it as well.
When I was on the train, I only carried hand-luggage, but I saw many many people carrying way more stuff including backpacks and suitcases. I would surely go for it, there was no control. That was 2006 though, but it still sounds strange. I mean, loads of people take their backpack while hiking the Inca Trail and go back by train.
Exactly what I thought! Thanks. I'll ask hotel when we get to cusco but expect it will be fine
Well I traveled this year to Macchu Picchu and theres no problem traveling with a big stuff cause I saw many people there with big things in the back so u will noit have problems my friend.!!!
Enjoy your trip is gonna be amazing
