I'm currently in New York but will be going to Boston this afternoon for a couple of days. From there I would like to go to Niagra Falls.
So far the only viable options for getting there are on the train or on the bus. Both methods have significant waits somewhere along the line and both will take a LONG time!
Does anyone know of any other cheap alternative ways of making this trip?
Thanks in advance...

I think the Greyhound bus from Boston to Buffalo should have you there the same day,the only other mode i can think of beside a plane would be a Drive Away company or Auto transport or rent a car agency looking for some one to drive a car to Buffalo.

Thanks for the reply - the 'Driveaway' option is something I've never heard of before and is very interesting! I think we'll end up just getting the Greyhound to be honest. The only annoying thing is there's a 6 (ish) hour wait in Buffalo I think. Ah well, good chance to sample some of the famous Chicken wings I guess, we're in no real hurry anyway...
If anyone has any better suggestions in the mean time please feel free to let me know!
Its only 23 kilometers from downtown Buffalo to the falls,i'm sure public transit will drop you off right there or maybe a $30 taxi or i'm sure most of the larger hotels have a shuttle bus service.
