It seem like a lot of threads about the Phils, come with thousands of post that are edited by the more moderators due to forum violations. It might give travellers the impression that some elements are just too desperate to sell the destinations.

In all fairness these islands have much too offer.

Try being more discrete with attempts to do promos.

I don't know about your budget, but I already booked an airticket from Tagbilaran, Bohol to Manila for February next year, and it was only € 15..., so you can't say it's expensive...

Ofcourse, if you have only a small budget, once on Bohol you have to avoid Panglao Island, you're better of away from the beaches, check out that awesome place along the Loboc River! In total we stayed there already over a month and we keep going back!

Almost every country get's it's fair share of promo's, some of them more than others that's true. If people want to include spam, you won't stop them with this friendly advice. Also, this thread has one 'under review' which should have been removed ages ago, but is still here.
All the others are genuine advice

I have looked a bit at Bohol and I kind of like what I see..

Can anyone tell me the options I got when travelling from Manila to Bohol?

I can se that it's possible to fly, but I think it is to expensive!

Is it possible to take the fast ferry? if yes how do I do that!?

To get to Bohol , you will need to go to Manila and book tickets to Tagbilaran via SuperFerry, Negros Navigation, or Aboitiz from ticket offices or at the Manila Harbor itself. Ferry ride would probably take you about a day to get there.

I also believe there are bus terminals in Metro Manila (specifically in Pasay City) that have trips to Tagbilaran but these travel by road and on board roll on roll off ferries and possibly jump off to at least 2 islands to get to Tagbilaran. I'm not sure if these buses have air-conditioning.. and I'm betting that it is a lot stressful.

If you get to Cebu, there are fast craft ferries that travel between Cebu and Tagbilaran.
