I'm planning a trip to Nepal at the end of Novemeber and need some ideas on what to do and how to organise things. I have 10 days and am travelling solo, but am not keen to do a tour, so am wondering how easy it is to get around out there.
My vague plan is to spend a couple of days in Kathmandu, then check out the Chitwan National Park and see what else I have time for.
Is it possible to book trips through the hotels? or should i plan to be a bit more organised before getting out there?
Also, any hostel/hotel recommendations would be appreciated.

Hello Keren....its better if you book your hotel from there as you are coming to Nepal in Nov its quite difficult to get good rooms most of the rooms are already been booked. so find the good hotel for your stay in Nepal.

I will recommend you
1. Kathmandu Guest House
2. Holy Lodge (for Little Cheaper and peaceful stay)
3. Nirvana Guest house.
4. Newly opened Hotel Nepalaya.
5. Tibet Guest house

all of them have their own web sites so please find them in internet and ask for the rooms.

let me know if you need the web site for those hotels.

Happy to know that you are coming this wonderful land and heartly welcome.
There are many beautiful and interesting places to visit outside the Kathmandu Valley. The places are full of history and historical remains and are remarkable for their beauties. Most of the places can be easily reached from Kathmandu by road or by air.
High in the Himalayan Mountains lies the small Kingdom of Nepal, with its lofty mountains, deep valleys, lush jungles, exotic wildlife and diverse peoples. Mostly known as the Land of Everest or the Birthplace of the Lord Buddha. Nepal has a variety of attractions to keep tourists coming back for more.
For the hotel you can check and will you find your required hotel in Nepal.
Have a nice travel !!!
