Well, I have to disagree. I have done N-S, S-N, E-W and W-E for well over 24 hours, through endless time zones and the jetlag was identical.

well it was exhausting but worth it. we took a 21.00 ( 09.00 pm) flight back to east at friday from NY. After a short time of take off the cabin crew shut down the windows to prevent jet lag. and it was usefull. eventhough i couldnt sleep much I wasnt feeling sleepy when we landend on paris around 11.00 in the noon. then we had a breakfaas over there. and fly to istanbul around 15.00 ( 03.00 pm) saturday we reached Istanbul. and I began really tired after that. ı went back home have a proper diner with my family. and went to bed eraly like 23.00 ( 11.00 pm) took a very long sleep like 13 hours. and even after that long sleep I felt a bit shaky in sunday. but monday it all turned right and ı maanged to go to work and settle down again.

Well, sleeping while on board the plane always makes me feel energized after and no jetlags at all. if ever there are times that I would be feeling a little jetlagged, I would sleep it off again or I would go out and get a massaged. a lot of fluids also makes up for the feeling..
