Well it's been a long time coming, but Guinness is turning 250 on the 24th September.

Now, this particular brew has been responsible for several hangovers, but it just wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for this english inspired brew.

HAPPY B'DAY GUINNESS

Raise a glass or two of the black stuff

Now will there be any at Oktoberfest i wonder .........

Phew - counts me out. And Beerman too.

See, you really didn't answer the question - okay, maybe you did since you'll be in Munich instead of the Gravity Bar at the top of Guinness' tour center.

Happy Birthday to Guinness !! (even if I'm guilty of always giving away the pints )

One of my friends back home will be attending some of the parties in Dublin as a member of the press, so he gets loads of freebies including the infamous drink it self...................and meeting some celebs (well the drinking ones )

Oh and it may in english inspired and owned but for tourism its all IRISH !!

Nope, the only beer allowed at the official OktoberFest is brewed in Munich.....hahahaha...suffer baby suffer - you vill trink German lagers!!!!

And I'm only going to tip a pint if you'll send some Jamaican-made Guinness on over. What you're drinking has the same alcohol content as Budweiser (4.2% = 19.9 mL alcohol per pint)....ick.......now the Jamaicans know how to make it right (6.2%). Better yet....send me 2 plane tickets and we'll meet you in Kingston at the Desnoes & Geddes brewery....I still know a few folks down in the brewing department.....we'll buy dinner.

The Guinness family built VancouverĀ“s most famous and beautiful landmark, the LionĀ“s Gate Bridge.

So Cheers, Guinness. Happy Birthday!!!

If you're lucky enough to find one, there are limited edition '1759-2009' - *250* Guinness glasses knocking about. They won't be around for long and guess who's got one? I'll give you a clue.. It begins with 'M' and ends in 'E'. Oh and there are no letters in between.

You forgot to ask him for the $10 he still owes you for the Ryder Cup and the additional $10 he owes you because Obama is our official President. I don't think you'll be getting paid anytime soon, nor getting plane tickets, nor Jamaican Guinness. Just a hunch.

He'll probably try to take you up on buying his dinner. Just another hunch.
