Damn, you're old.

Not that old, besides Deputy Dawg is available on YouTube.
Now I'm just making excuses. Damn.... I'm old, you're right.

As a child my parents did not allow me to watch many cartoons. Permitted activities included playing outside and drinking water.

Although, newspaper funnies were ok, my favourite was Andy Capp. I must add that I really hated Family Circus, for obvious reasons.

You mean they let Derek watch Rocket Robin Hood and you were stuck in the kitchen drinking water? That's just cruel.

The younger siblings always get away with more. Kitchen? It was a garden hose in the backyard. Also, at a young age Derek would dart off down the street and watch TV in dept. stores, with local grocers and merchants, including other families. His travels started early.

Both my brother TravelSoup and I hated Family Circus. The thing should be used as torture. I am happy that the family allowed water drinking as well. Luckily, they allowed me water too. I admit that I spent an inordinate amount of time at my friend Manuel's house watching stuff. That family made me watch "Terror Train" starring Telly Savalas, which kept me up nights. Soupdog was, however, well hydratred and slept well.
