Hey guys !

was wondering if you could help ? Has anyone been to Thailand in November before ? Myself and a friend are thinking of going for approx 1 month and wondered where is best to go & also where the best is for weather that time of year.

We really would to find some picturesque destinations and stay there for a couple of weeks as well as travelling around as much as possible to explore the wonders of Thailand.

any info is greatly appreciated, anything at all. anyone done this ? if so could you recommend anywhere remote & also places for "partying" along with nice & cheap accomodation eg beach bungalows.

many thanks

I am going to let the younger crowd weigh in on partying. Most are going to suggest Koh Phangan. I am going to suggest you look at the Krabi area for great beaches. Railay Beach is considered 'paradise' by many. But no cheap place to stay. You can day trip it from Krabi town. Or Ao Nang beach. Take a look at Koh Jum & Lanta for cheap beach bungalows.

Good lucking with your planning.

The best weather in Thailand is usually Nov-Feb. No so hot, less rain than from June-Oct. Do take a look at the youtube I posted under: 'Big Trouble in Tourist Thailand". Koh Phangan can be fun, but many of the revelers overdo it. Stay off jet skiis, motorbikes, use some common sense and you should have a great time.

november is the best time to come cuz the weather is generally good and the high season hasnt started so prices are cheaper and its not as crowded. for sure dont ride motorbikes without jeans, shoes, helmets and your own lock, dont go anywhere near drugs when you are in the islands, and use common sense with jet skis, tuk tuks, and other potential scams. otherwise come to thailand; we need more tourists!!! you can also apply for a new tourism promotion I saw through FB called The Ultimate Thailand Explorers. Big Trouble? I dunno. Free trip, I'd be down for that.

Thailand is hurting for tourists and has started a new promotional contest to increase interest in visiting Thailand. Here is the link for any that would like to win a free trip to Thailand.

I dont really know much about what times to go as ive only ever been in april when songkran was on. I would definately reccomend going then its brilliant its just constant fun and partying. But if you cant wait then november shoudl be fine. I would recommend starting in bangkok (i presume this is where your flying in to) then after a few days their down to pattaya for a week or so for partying etc. After this over to krabi for a few days or week relaxing. Then up to chang mai for a look at the wildlife and maybe doing some activites up their like elephant trekking. After this probably bangkok for a few nights and fly back.
