Hello all,

I got an email earlier this week about putting information up on Travellerspoint about good places to donate stuff like pens, pencils and other stationery equipment when you're travelling. Mike (the guy who emailed me) has travelled quite a bit and often comes across these good causes to donate to, so he was wondering if there's anywhere on TP where we could list stuff like that.

What do you guys think about adding a subsection to guide articles called Travel Responsibly (or something similar)? I think you could put stuff like what Mike suggested above, or even other things related to travelling responsibly. For example, on the Australia article you'd mention stuff like using water sparingly (because we're in drought), paying close attention to fire bans, etc.

Peter and I thought it would also be cool to have a Responsible Travel article, that can be linked to from each of those subsections (like how the Travel Safety article is linked to from all the Safety subsections).

Thoughts?

Eric

Well this article would also fit under that heading:

http://www.travellerspoint.com/guide/How_to_Green_Travel/

It is currently located under Travel_Tips_and_Advice. Maybe the stuff on donations should be under there also?

Problem is that article directory is not on the main page.
