Hi,

Just wondering if anyone out there was off to Oz or NZ in the new year to work. I've had enough of the UK and looking for graduate jo0bs and need to get out travelling again (sound familiar anyone??). Been to both countries before only for a short period and looking to go again for 12 months working tourist visa. I'm especially keen for the British Lions in June 05. Any one got any ideas on where to get some well paid work that they have contacts for i.e..bar..fruit picking.....anything that involves a laugh.

Cheers for your help,

Alistair.

Hiya
I am off to Oz on january 31st for the first time. I've got myself a working visa, and can't wait to get out there! Only 10 weeks to go and counting! When are you planning to go? Where are going to first?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping to get out there by the end of Jan but struggling with money at the mo. I left Uni in 2003 and had one job but now not sure what to do next so Aus called out to me!

Have you organised your working visa and accomodation and bank accounts yourself?

As for where I'm going not to sure. Think I'll start in sydney and then get up to Cairns via road as I had really good time there before!

So u travelling alone as well? If so we could meet.

Alistair

If you're going to Melbourne then check out Footprints Travel in Gray Street, St Kilda, they run a backpackers job agency and should be able to sort you out. Phone number is Melbourne (03) 95342003.

Hi,

Thanks for all your suggestions. I have seent the work travel compan y already and think I will let them arrange all that stuff as I don't want to stress over that stuff doing it myself. Probabaly take me twice as long and cost roughly the same.

Cheers,

Alistair.
