Congrats to you and your family, James! Tristan is a beautiful name. Big hugs from way, way across the pond!

Thanks everyone.

Yes, I hope he likes pizza (with anchovies) and, more importantly, I hope he likes beer (in moderation of course, oh and in the distant future)!

I'll put some photos up today.

Well he's definitely a boy! And a beautiful one at that. Congrats again on your beautiful family, james!

And Michael--try watching 4 episodes of A Baby Story a day. You'll end up immune!

Sorry - that just made me giggle. Okay, a little more than giggle. Michael - what did you have for lunch? Wait, I don't even want to know. Besides, I was having my morning coffee when I clicked on James' gallery. And T, only 4 episodes a day?

See, now spending 5 years working in the Pediatrics Dept. definitely builds one's immunity. Those 5:00am C-sections are the icing on the cake. (Honestly, I loved working in Peds.)

Oh, and James, Tristan is a real cutey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

What the hell is satehsauce??? Anything like ketchup or HP sauce?

T, if you want practice for those middle of the night feedings, I've got a 3 day old kitten happy to oblige. Damn - forgot you're allergic. Michael, how about you? I'd ask James but he's busy with Tristan.

Sorry to thread-jack, James... But, you do know how it goes.

I'm watching A Baby Story again right now. It's about the 5th one today! I'm driving myself unnecessarily crazy. It's not the blood and guts and shiny white coatings that scare me--it's all the dang screaming!

And thanks but no thanks on the kitten. I admit kittens are a lot cuter than their sneaky parents, but I'd be sneezing and wheezing up a storm in no time. Mind, I have a big pan that would be perfect for cat à la king and we have company for dinner tomorrow...

Sorry T, this little guy wouldn't even feed a mouse. I can fit 3 of him in the palm of my hand. (Damn mom decided she didn't want to be pro-active in his up-bringing and it's already cold outside.) Maybe when he gets a bit bigger... maybe not since we accidently named him last night. I just hope he makes it through the next few days.

Screaming is good. It lets out all of that pent up anxiety (aka anger towards the one who participated in this creation and doesn't have to share in the "whole experience" except by proxy). Ask James - it's the reason he's SMILING. Stop the insanity. Stop watching the program over and over. Wait - the blood and guts aren't scaring you? Do I know this Tina? Practice screaming now so Rip gets used to it. (Once you're done screaming Le Bump will take over.)

Note to James - you started this thread, now you have to live with it.
