They're two different 'beasts' really. Although greyhound has done a lot in recent years to tack on tours etc, in the end it's primarily a bus service between two locations. Oz experience operates much smaller buses and the people driving them are more tour guides than bus drivers. That means more info along the way regarding what you're seeing, and also more stops to take it all in. Greyhound bus drivers will mention something every now and then as well, but it's more about getting from a to b as quickly as possible.

I'm not saying one is better than the other, but it really depends on your goals and what you're hoping to get out of that stretch of the trip.

If you're thinking Oz Ex or Greyhound, it usually pays to buy them while still overseas. Oz Experience I know gives a 15% discount when bought abroad, and I think Greyhound has something similar.

do you have any tip on thailand? lol

It's been years since I was there, but I enjoyed the islands. Just caught some minibus down and a boat across; pretty easy!
