I just wondered, after seeing some posts on here with 100's of replies and 1,000's of views, what it takes to create such an interesting post...

Anyway, here's a joke for ya seeing as you took the time to look even tho you were told not to...

Five Englishmen in an Audi Quattro arrived at an Irish border checkpoint.
Paddy the officer stops them and tells them: "It is illegal to put 5 people in a Quattro, Quattro means four".

"Quattro is just the name of the automobile," the Englishmen retorts disbelievingly.

"Look at the papers: this car is designed to carry five persons."

"You can not pull that one on me," replies Paddy "Quattro means four.
You have five people in your car and you are therefore breaking the law."

The Englishmen replies angrily, "You idiot! Call your supervisor
over I want to speak to someone with more intelligence!"

"Sorry," responds Paddy, "Murphy is busy with 2 guys in a Fiat

I'd wondered about the same thing, Airfix. What post attracts people to visit, and what entices them to reply? So far, if I remember right, people seem most interested in UK Working Holidaymakers and the Legal Sex Age in London.

Oh, and your jokes, of course!

lol.. not bad, in about 18 hours, its had 40 views...

Just goes to show, you tell someone not to do something, they'll do it all the more...

Maybe we could start a serious topic for those who do look here when not supposed to, only let's not tell those who do as they're told... ;)

Lets see if between us we can come up with.....

100 uses for a...... paperclip...

I'll start...

Sorry if it's the most obvious one, but someone has to use it for this purpose... After all, it's what it was designed for...

Holding sheets of paper together...

Anyone care to elaborate, let's see how imaginative we can get...

...well you know when you get thoses tiny little reset buttons and you really have to get something small to push the damn thing-well i always unwind a paperclip-very handy indeed!!

Ahhh, finally my office improvisation techniques will come to the fore!

1. I have a pair of pants that is too long and thus the hem gets undone. So a little paperclip holds the ends together and voila! You have an interesting looking hem that won't be getting caught under your heel!

2. My bangs get in my eyes a lot and when I forget to bring some hairpins, I use paperclips!!!
