Hello All,

I am 27yrs old and am looking to travel South America mid-Nov till Jan. I have travelled on my own and with friends and i prefer being able to share experiences, so would like to find a travel companion.

If you are interested in this adventure please let me know or if you are already travelling but want to meet up there let me know :-)

Happy travels to all.

Bex

Hi Bex, what exactly is your plane ? I'm from Canada and I was thinking about Mexico and from there down. Martin

Hey Martin,

I do not have an exact plan as i am flexible because i would like to travel with a companion rather than on my own.

I have looked at flights and i have a good price to fly in to Lima (mid Nov) and fly out of Rio. I would like to go to Chile, Argentina also. However some of the internal flights seem expensive?? so maybe lima to Buenos aires then over land by bus to Rio??

What are your plans? how long do you wish to travel for?

Bex :)

Hi Bex,

I'll be heading to USA in mid nov.. i've always wanted to travel mexico & south america, but i dont really dare do it alone, and none of my friends are interested either. but for this trip, i think south america will be too far for me, since i'll already be touring USA... If u're heading to mexico, let me know :)

Hey Bex,
I'll be traveling South America in Nov,Dec,Jan - I reckon I'll be in the galapagos early November, then coastal Ecuador for spanish classes/surfing.

I haven't got any real firm plans on what I'll do beyond that, but my thoughts are currently to head to Lima then the Atacama then cross over to Argentina and head for Iguazu Falls after which I'm toying with the idea of taking a cruise from BsAs to Santiago. This would be a 14 night cruise from 6 Dec to 20 Dec - goes to the Falklands etc... cost for the cruise is ~$2200 including taxes - I'm looking for someone to split this cost and share the cruise with. Bex or anyone else get back with me if you're interested in any or all of this trip with me.

Hi Martin,
It will be a pleasure to help you in your trip.
The cheaper way is travelling by bus and you can sleep in hostels if you like. There are hotels that are cheap also.
If you go to Southamerica, you have to visit Argentin, you have a lot of beautiful places .Starting from Iguzu falls, Humahuaca ravine, Patagonia lakes , The glaciers and Antartida if you want.
If you like adventure activities, Argentina is the best place for that, you can make some trekking to Aconcagua (the summit of America), Lanin, you can make rafting in Patagona rivers, bunging jumping, canopy.
I really love my country, and I assure you will love it.
I keep at your disposal to any question,
Regards!
Mariana
