I have now booked my ticket to fly out to Bangkok on the 23rd Jan 05. Meeting up with a couple of lads in Bangkok and travelling Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam & Laos (all for a month each). Then probably heading out to Sydney some time in May. Would be great to hear from other people that have the same idea.

Em :)

Hi everyone, I'm in Singapore, so if you need help about singapore or Malaysia, you can pose me a note.

It's better to go down the Mekong River rather than up it in Laos.
IF you got to Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, you can arrange your Laos visa and boat trip down to Luang Prabang. Next stop is funky Veng Vieng. Beer Lao has to be the best value beer any where.
