Flights from South Africa to USA

Hi there

I need to travel from Cape Town to Los Angeles next september for a wedding. Does anyone know tif there are direct flights from anywhere in South Africa to anywhere in the United States? The only ones that I can find at present are via London and 28hours long!

South African Airways flies to New York and Washington, D.C., depending on the time of year. Check the schedule here. Not sure that it'll be that much shorter than via London.

Delta also flies to JNB from Atlanta.
