After being in perth for 4 weeks and sending endless amounts of CV's round and getting rejections for jobs 'because im british and they want to give the aussies a chance' im thinking about doing some outback country pub work

as it pays brill and accommodation & meals are usually included, what am asking is if anyone on here has completed any work like this before...just wanting to boost me funds before christmas and get some more cash together for travelling on in january

Every backpackers info centre have said - if you wanna go into the country we got loads of work for a girl like a little jubious about goin into the outback alone...

can anyone give me any help or insights into their personal experiences

Cheers boys n girls x

This is a bit of an old post, so you might have already worked something out.

I met an attractive English girl working in a outback pub south of Cairns in Queensland. I asked how she was handling it as the place really did look pretty rough. she said they are all pussy cats really. they talk big and like to wind you up, but as long as you can give them back as good as you get then she said they have a sort of respect for you. I say go for it.
