Hey all! So... decided to take a year working holiday visa to Wellington NZ this April. Curious about the types of jobs a foreigner can get: I have bartending experience but will basically do anything. Also, not sure which neighborhood in Wellington to live in. I just finished uni and am a 22 year old girl so anything around pubs, cafes, etc. I'm heading over there alone so an area with lots of people to meet and socialize with would be great! Also, if you think there's another city in NZ or maybe even OZ let me know! Thanks!

Hi There,

Wellington is a cool place. It's known as 'windy welli' in New Zealand. There are many small small suburbs near downtown Wellington, would suggest you to looks for accomodation there. More jobs in downtown. Best is to start doing some research before you get onboard.

If you do have some more questions, feel free to ask.
