w00t! Just removed Nantes from the list of popular places without articles, and added a whooping 18.5K characters!

The article is pretty comprehensively written although it is by no means done, and I need to figure out how to add an accommodation table thingy to it too. Will see what I can do later.

Coincidence: just send you a PM about the accommodation table adding;)
Like the article!

I never bother with the accommodation, it always appear as by magic ... ;)

Ah I didn't know the trick until now, thanks to some guidance from Michael. I still think of it as appearing magically though!

Now that the article for Nantes is completed, I realised there's so much more to do, especially after I took onboard the recommendation of putting the city within its department, and the region. Suddenly there are like a gazillion articles that need to be written (so that the department and the region pages won't be left empty), and I don't even know where to really start. Plus I don't know all those places quite as well as I did with Nantes. Yikes!

But it's a good complain though. I think.

Ps: one extra question re the accommodation table - does it automatically update itself accordingly to the places that's available through TP database, or does it have to be updated manually?

A little progress report on the Hippo Roller Challenge from my part - in the month since its launch (plus about a week prior to that) - my total character count is about 227K. At this rate, I should be able to push for one Hippo Roller by the end of the challenge period, since I'll have about 3 more months to write the travel guide

It depends how you look at it though; if yours is the last million, it's actually worth 32 hippo rollers!! So a great effort indeed and thanks for all the support!

In case that wasn't clear, those numbers are for each million. So the further we get along, the quicker these numbers are going to go. Especially hitting 19 (donate additional 16) and 20 (32 rollers in addition to the 31 already donated!) will be big milestones

Oh yeah, I got that. But thought it'll be nice to at least help contribute to 1. The more the better of course

I have just published the latest TP Foundation blog entry and have highlighted the Hippo Roller Challenge. I do hope it brings in more participants!!!

Tryin' my best to help out... Maybe I should add some characters too...

(ps: I still think those look like rhino butts. Heeheehee - made ya look!)

Nice post, and yes, I was lured by the mentioned of rhino butts...

Well if you have characters to add, why not? The more the merrier, and the more useful guides for TPers. On the other hand, I should take a break from writing TP guide for a few days. It has increased my character count to 1/4 million now, but my poor thesis is unfortunately only up by a few pages.

If I count correctly, we have just broken the 15 million mark.
