My husband and I are disgusted with everything America stands for, and have considered moving to England for quite a while. The recent election more or less "seals the deal". He's a software engineer, has been for many years. Apparently this is our way in via immigration rules. Most of what we're curious about is practical in nature...how much can we expect to make? What are good resources to finding a job & house? What's a good area to live - especially for technical jobs? How do we move our "stuff". Obviously, we know we'd have to get rid of most of it, but we're in our late 30s, and have some things we'd like to keep. This is a huge step, leaving our family and everyone we love behind - but we've begun to feel that if 51% of the people WANT 4 more years of this...we clearly don't belong here.
