OK i spent this summer learning about the joy that is L.I.P.Ping...
This stands for Lying In Public Places
From the information I have been given this began in Manchester, UK. And what you have to do is lay, face down with your arms by your side whilst having your photo taken. But the challenge is to do this in the most obscure places!
For example this summer 16 of us layed on the steps going up the Natural History Museum in NYC. This caused such a buzz that various members of the public took photos of us, in the thought that we were an 'experimental performance arts group'. To this we replied, ofcourse!!! It's all fun and games!
On our travels around the States we met many people and felt the need to pass on the joy of L.I.P.Ping. And it caught on like wild fire. In fact the other day I was tagged in a photo on FB of a man we met who is now L.I.P.Ping outside Machu Picchu!
L.I.P.Ping is becoming a worldwide phenomenon. So join in with the latest craze to take on photography! I promise you will get people commenting all over your pictures on your return!
