Oz online visa app

I'm having difficulty using the online service on the .gov website.
I can't even start an application.
Does anyone know of any System Maintenance and Technical Issues??
Is anyone else experiencing problems??

I'm guessing you mean .gov.au when you mention the website. System maintenance issues are on this page. Do you get any particular error when trying?

If you are still having problems with the website then you could pop into a travel agent to get your ETA. We use a different system to the website so whatever issue you are finding would not effect us. I work for a massive student/youth travel agency who shall remain nameless and we charge £20 for an ETA, I'd imagine it would be a similar price at most places though.

I'm guessing you're talking GBP there for UK passport holders? Are you not aware that UK passport holders (like all EU passport holders) are eligible for an eVisitor now and not an ETA? The difference - eVisitor applications are free of charge.
