hi, im planning on going new zealand in june 2010 for a year, i havent got an exact date for when i return tho. can i get a one way ticket or do i need to show a return ticket to the immigration officer????

also if any one else has bought a 1way to nz, what was the best price you got???

You can buy a return with the return date several months away, and nearer the time to the return date on the ticket get it changed by the airline. You may be charged a fee for this, but it would most likely work out less in total than two one-way tickets.

hi, thanks for that information,

i was planning on going to the usa for 3 months after travelling in new zealand then flying back to the uk from new york. do you know that the best thing is for me to do?

can i change destinations aswell as dates on the ticket?

sorry for sounding thick but im new to this and still researching everything.

You may want to look into round-the-world (RTW) tickets.
