Hi,

I have lost my passport in Las Vegas and need to travel to LA to work out an emergency passport with the Consulate. Will I be able to fly to LA with my Australian drivers license if I explain my story to them? I remember my old passport number and expiry, and I also have a copy of my birth certificate and and international drivers license.

Any help, experiences or advice will be greatly appreciated!

I think any gov't issued photo ID will enough to board an aircraft. Your IDL or Aussie DL should be enough proof you are the same person as on the ticket.

Call the airline customer service number and ask ahead of time. Know before you go. Best of luck.
