Hello Fellow Silver- haired travellers.
My husband and I like to go to new places but hate the idea of packaged holidays. We feel very restricted by having to stay and eat in the same hotel for any lenght of time. like to hire car and drive whenever possible.
We are thinking of visiting SRI Lanka and would appreciate any advice and experiences that you may have had especailly from people who are over 50.
What would be the coolest time to visit in your experience.
There is lots of info on the web and we have read nice things about the island.
The mosquitoes seem a bit of a bother but we just need to take the right precautions.
Hope someone out there will have to time to reply.
