What about Ryanair flights out of Hahn?

There is an ICE train that leaves Paris 06:58 Thursday morning, it arrives Saarbrücken 08:57. For this train there are special offers available for 39 EUR one-way from www.bahn.de From Hahn there is a flight at 12:15 to Kerry for about 35 EUR one-way. You'd have to rent a car to get from Saarbrücken to Hahn, the distance is about 120 kms and 2 hours of driving time.

Total for 5 people: around 400-450 EUR to get from Paris to Kerry.

Well if it's more than €400, they may as well just take the taxi since they have a quotation for €400. Also, I don't think they want to go to Kerry. If they live in/near Dublin, Kerry is a few hours yet from home.

There is also a direct flight to Dublin from Hahn, but it leaves at 7:10. There is no way to make the connection from Paris in time.

An alternative can be the indirect flights that skyscanner shows, I see a connection via Gdansk for 76 EUR leaving Hahn 15:30 that would get them to Dublin at midnight.

The flight to Kerry also has a connecting flight to Dublin, it would cost approx. 70 EUR total and get them to Dublin around 9 pm.

For bus, check Eurolines website and buy from there I guess.

But once in London, you will also need to pay to get from the bus terminal to the airport, and I don't know how much time you would have to connect between the two. Additionally, the bus arrival time in London is subject to traffic problems, so you need to build some padding time to it.

To be honest, if the savings is miniscule, say €10 each, I'd just go with the taxi and get it over and done with. Assuming you're leaving for Brussels pretty much right away after the match (which you may take a while to leave the stadium given the number of attendees would be high). You may have to snooze at the airport after you arrive there, but at least the flight is early, meaning the gate would be open relatively early too.

Otherwise, you're talking about a night of accommodation in Paris, get a bus that takes hours to get to London, then rush to the airport, and catch the flight back. Is all those hassle worth the small savings?

Which airline will the connection be? Most budget airlines don't do connection, and if anything happen to delay the first flights, the boys will be stuck at the second place and have to pay even more to get a new flight back. The airline will not put them on the next flight out for free.

And if I'm understanding this correctly - Hahn-Dublin via Gdansk for €70. Then we'll need to account for train from Paris to Hahn. That's going to add up again.

Is there an option of getting a late nite bus/tube/train to lille ?? i see Brussels is a smaller distance from lille and maybe a cheaper taxi fare ??

Last train of the day leaves at 10.58pm, which is unlikely for you to catch even though the stadium by RER is not too far from Gare du Nord. Unless you leave the match earlier. And the train ticket to Lille is €30.50.

Fly back from Paris-Beauvais then, with Ryanair. You are in luck, I've just checked and seems like Ryanair has some sort of promotional price, so buy them ASAP!

Ps: this is rather strange that the price is so reasonable with Ryanair. Normally for flights within 2 weeks of booking, they're never that cheap!
