Hi,
have any one seen or hear if there is such a thing as where you can register for having a UK mail address where the post goes and it gets scanned in to electronic format, and then sent to your email address or is accessible via the WEB?

I have seen some business services that are quite expensive, but nothing for the private person.

Am I the only person in the world that would like this?

Happy travel

Hey pnorrgren,

Though I haven't used them myself and therefore couldn't personally recommend them, I found this link online while doing some travel research, and it may solve your problem, so feel free to take a look: international mail forewarding address

Hope it helps! Good luck!

Steph

P.S. If not, try searching about.com . They have information on everything, and a lot of very useful links. The reason why I'm suggesting this is because there may have been a more suitable link from that site, but I didn't bookmark it.

On second thought, after searching for an old thread that I thought I posted this link in, I figured out that that was the only link that I had, as it wasn't in that thread . . . if that makes any sense at all A little tired . . . must go to bed

Hi
thanks for the reply.
I checked them out and they only do mail forwarding, not conversion to digital format and making the post available via email or WEB.
If no one does it, perhaps there is no demand for this or a golden opportunity to offer this service....lol :)
best regards

Darn. Too bad that one wouldn't work.

Well, best of luck!

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to entrust a friend or family member with the task of scanning and e-mailing your mail to you?
