Hello! A small group of friends including myself are planning a little (!) road trip, and are trying to work out if there is any way to get across the Gulf of Aqaba by ferry from Saudi Arabia to Egypt, avoiding driving around the north and having to get visas for both Jordan and Israel. Since it would take a relatively short time to drive through the sections of these countries it is frustrating that we'd have to apply for two visa's for what is essentially one days drive.
I've had a dig online and don't think there is a way around this, but if anyone can help you have our thanks!
I know that there is a ferry from Saudi-Arabia to Hurghada, at least it runs during hajj time.
Information about transportation in KSA is hard to find, if there is any info online it will be in Arabic.

I think it is impossible to drive that way.
You would not be allowed to enter Israel with a Saudi car and you are not allowed to enter Egypt with a car with Israeli licence plates.
The best way would be to go all the way to Aqaba and then take the ferry from Aqaba to Nuweiba. There are some issues with Israeli entry stamps that make it better if you do not enter Israel at all.
EDIT: Found something:
