QUESTION: HOW/WHERE TO SEE THE BEST OF CARNIVAL?
My hubby and I are going to Carnival Feb 10th -16th.
We will be staying in SALVADOR in the historic centre, overlooking the Bay of Saints, 5 minutes walk from Pelourinho District in a Pousada on Rua Direita do Santo Antônio, 48 - Santo Antônio além do Carmo Salvador.
- ** We need any info about where to go for best events? Do we need to buy Tshirts? Where get best prices? where see best entertainment/costumes? Do we need costumes to wear? masks? Where can we go to view the scenes at a bit of a distance, rather than being caught up in the midde of the crowd?
We were going to go enjoy a beach a few hours away from Salvador from Feb. 16th and 17th, but are wondering if we should be staying near Salvador (like on the Isle of Itaparica) for that time in case there is something going on at Carnival that we won't want to miss. ***Any help would be greatly appreciated.
