I would love the opinion of some experienced travellers or Aussies. I have decided to get myself over to the East Coast of Australia in early 2010 but have since read about the different weather patterns and am not sure what the best time of year/month to make the trip. We will be flying into Cairns and then spending up to 3 weeks travelling down to Sydney before flying back out to London. I was going to book the flights for around 10th Feb (ish) but is this a good time to make the trip or should we wait a couple of months?
We are both pretty good with high temperatures and are looking for lots of adventure and activities while we are there rather than just lying on the beach all day.
Thanks in advance
