Oh dear, I just went back and have a look at the search I did yesterday and apparently I was trying to go to Las Vegas in New Mexico, not Nevada!

Lil,
You are not the only one who has confused the 2 cities. I had a friend in Las Vegas NM and he could not believe how many visitors would ask; 'How far is Hoover Dam from here? Oh, about 700 miles! Same name, different state, it happens. Keep posting Lil.

That's pretty close compared to some mistakes you occasionally hear about - e.g. tourists who have flown from Europe to Sydney, Nova Scotia in Canada rather than Sydney in Australia!

Ok, well in this case I know where I'm supposed to go, just that when I the auto-filled option came up on the search form, I just clicked on the first that came up without paying attention to the details that follows. Tricky stuff eh ;)

Mojorob, wow, that's some different city in 2 opposing continents!

Easily done. At least you didn't have the same problem that one of our work colleagues had. He was going to Tirana and booked a ticket with a local agent.
She got him a ticket to Tehran !! Fortunately, being a bit of a legal beagle he got a full refund. Maybe it wouldn't be so lucky for others.
