laoutlaw has indicated that this thread is about Ireland

Hi!
I will be in Dingle for 4 nights in March 2010 (18th-22nd) and I am having a hard time deciding on a place to stay!

What I would love to find in a place is:
--central to Dingle, within easy (5 minutes) walk to town center, since i will not have a car.
--within a 35-50 Euro/night price point (b'fast included is a bonus!)
--a single bed for a female in a safe location!

Please help me out with your firsthand knowledge.... i will be eternally grateful!

many thanks in advance!!
Ashley

I stayed at the Rainbow Hostel some years back and really enjoyed it. I think the one drawback is that it's not in town, though they do have a shuttle. May be worth dropping them a line for some more info. Good luck!

Hey Laoutlaw,
Anytime I've been to Dingle I stay in Bamburys guesthouse. Really friendly, clean, helpful and central to everything. I'll put their web address up here so you check it out. http://www.bamburysguesthouse.com/

I don't think you'll have too much problem finding a place to stay at that time of the year though.
If you're finding it difficult you can always use the official Irish Tourism website which is quite helpful http://www.discoverireland.com/ire/

If you're still having problems after that send me a personal message here on TP and I'll see what I can do to help.

More about Ireland

Though the strife of its political conflict over the last half-century might suggest otherwise, Irish hospitality is warm and inviting, providing an excellent framework for touring the nation's many attractions. Pubs occupy many a street corner, and the merry atmosphere is often accented by someone playing the fiddle, accordion or singing.
