Even the Indians would recommend that you avoid Delhi and Calcutta.

hey...weejoe..i m in india ..bombay{new name..mumbai}..so if ur there u know where to call...give me the schedule...infact i worded with michelle also..she"s basically going to be up north... is that right michelle.. glad to b of any assistance if need b..

Yeah Ace, I'll be in the north too. Want to spend time in Nepal, dunno exactly how long but Delhi, Varanasi, Agra and Jaipur are on the list as well.

weejoe.... michelle.. then thats good ...when u reach india..just let me know...i will fly down to delhi..jaipur..whatever, and we can catch up..and hit some hot spots..

Everyone at work thinks my mum is a Buddhist. She's actually just very intersted in and reads a lot about it!

One thing she learnt from it is a saying which I love, apply it to problems you may face....

"If you can't do anything about it, its not worth worrying about. If you can do something about it it's not worth worrying about either."

Best way to keep sane before you go is to be as organised as you possibly can (obvious I know, but there's always something esle to do) do as much reading and research as you can and you'll be surprised that you'll know more than most people you meet abroad....
The best thing to do is get really into reading about culture, other travellers reviews and you'll be surprised how much it calms you down the good anticipation builds and the bad anticipation lessens...........enjoy your trip!
