Travel Forums Asia 21 days in SE Asia

Hi all,

I am travelling to Bangkok at the start of March with my boyfriend. We will have 3 weeks to spend in SE Asia before flying out to Australia.

We have already visited the south islands in Thailand several times (Phi Phi, Ko Tao, Samui, Ko Phangan, Phuket, Ko Lanta etc) so prob won't be going back there for quite a while. We would def. like to visit Cambodia and Vietnam (Halong Bay etc) and would like to also spend about 5 days at a beach resort somewhere (I was thinking Koh Chang?). We are also interested in visiting Laos.

Keeping in mind that we only have 3 weeks to spend there, I was wondering if any of you have a reccommendations as to how would be the best way to spend this time?

Ps. We are happy to do a few internal flights to save time

It is a waste of time for us to plan your itinerary - only you know what your taste is! Best to get that Rough Guide for Indochina and start reading.

In Vietnam, I like #1 - Hanoi, #2 - Sapa and Dalat and #3 - Hoi An - best of all.

Thanks Daawgon,

Since posting the thread, I have been putting together an itinerary, using tips from the site. I think I am almost there with it!
