Hi,

I'm planning to go from thailand to Cambodia by plane. And then Cambodia to Vietnam on land. But I have sorted out VISAs for any of the countries. Would I be able to get a VISA at the airport in Cambodia for US$20 (as I understand)? And how easy is it to obtain a VISA in cambodia to go to Vietnam?

If anyone has done this, your help would be great.

Thanks

Yes, 20 bucks will get your Cambodian Visa. For Vietnam i had to get my visa before i left the states for $110 bucks. It depends on what country your from, but most likely you will need to get your visa ahead of time

Thanks Mike,

That's helpful. Has anyone tried doing the 'Visa on arrival' method and has it caused any issues?

Thanks

I stayed in Phnom Pehn in 2008 and got my visa at a little shop near the foreign correspondents club, it took 2 days. stokesy

I use Lucky Lucky Motorcycle in Phnom Penh for my VN visa. Takes 1 day, figure $35. Almost all guesthouses and travel shops will do the VN visa for you. Check places for speed, price, then decide. I also did the 'visa on arrival' for VN when I flew in from Singapore. My blog talks about it.

Send me a PM if you have questions on Cam. or VN.
