Can anyone recomend somewhere in Stockholm to stay? We are looking for somewhere cheap and clean close plenty of bars and nightclubs....

Is it wise to turn up and find somewhere to stay? Or book in advance?
We are in Sweden for 9nights and want to check out the nightlife and try some skiing. Any recomendations on clubs too would be nice...

thanks alot

The hostel I stayed at a few years ago in Stockholm had no windows, but it was cheap :) It has pretty good reviews, but if you are planning to go for that many days, I personally wouldn't want to stay somewhere with no windows. The only other place I've stayed at in Stockholm, I liked so much that I decided to stay there again on the next trip, but it's not really cheap :(

Maybe for that length of time an apartment would be a better option? Gives you the option to cook at home too one or two nights

Here are my suggestions
Scandic Norra Bantorget Hotel Stockholm
15 Wallingatan Stockholm SE-107 24, City Centre

Hilton Slussen Hotel Stockholm
8 Guldgrand Stockholm SE-104 65, Sodermalm

Columbus Hotel Stockholm
Tjarhovsgatan 11 Stockholm SE-116 21, Sodermalm
They are affordable and comfortable place to stay in.
Prices start from SEK kr750.00 and above
