Tallinn to Riga by bus!

Travel Forums Europe Tallinn to Riga by bus!

I'm thinking of taking the Euroline bus (http://www.eurolines.ee/en) from Tallinn to Riga. Has anyone else here done it? Just wondered...

What's the journey like? Smooth or rough 'n' bumpy?!

Also, what's the easiest place to catch the bus in Tallin - Tallink City hotel or the bus station at Lastekodu 46?

Most importantly of all, I hear it takes 4 and half hours(!) - does the bus have a toilet on board or are there stops where you can get off, nip to the loo and nip back on again! :")

Has anyone seen what facilities are available on the Lux Express - there was some mention of
refreshments, wifi, hot drinks, newspapers, and TV which kinda sounded cool :-D.

Not to worry guys found the answer on another travel forum but thought I'd post it here in case the information is of help to anyone else. Yes, there are toilets on board along with refreshments and apparently the roads and buses are good so it's a smooth ride. You can catch the Nr. 4 tram from the Tammsaare park to the bus station (AUTOBUSSIJAAM) apparently.

Yes, have done this. It is indeed a reasonably modern, smooth and not overly expensive road trip. I don't remember there being TV.
