i've never been to new zealand, but i hear that queenstown (southern island) is the place for adventure eg. shotover jet rides, bungy jumping etc.

cheers

Here's me sounding like a broken record again, but I really enjoyed blackwater rafting through the Waitomo Caves in the North Island. Certainly not on par with bungee jumping, but we had a great time. And they give you free lunch!

Heya

South Island adventure capital is definitely Queenstown, It is the gateway for the adrenalin enthusiasts.
It will certainly cater for -

Bungy Jumping - Go for the Nevis, best by far as its one of the highest and suspended by cable.
Jet Boating / Rafting / Sky diving - Luging / Horse riding etc
Heaps of other activies

For the North Island its a bit more wide spread but would go to Rotorua as a base.

If you are in the SOuth Island then Queenstown offers the luge, bungy jumping, and jet boating. Horse trekking farms are also available in the area.

The North Island has a luge track at Rotorua. Bungy jumping is also available in the Rotorua to Taupo region along with horse riding, farm visits and much more.

I hope this helps you a little furtehr with your planning. More information about these locations can be found at New Zealand Focus.
