Hello Everyone!

I am a 26 year old American female looking for a dependable travel companion for a trip mostly through Eastern Europe. The trip would be about 4 weeks long, taking place in either June or July. I am currently looking into volunteering at an orphanage in Bulgaria, so the trip may take off from there. We would be traveling to the following places, but I can be flexible if there's something you want to include in the trip. We would be traveling by train and staying in hostels, unless you are a pro at navigating camping sites abroad.

Bulgaria (Sofia), Romania (Bucharest), Hungary (Budapest), Slovenia (Bled), Austria (Vienna), Czech Rep.(Prague), Germany (Rhine River), Switzerland (Interlaken), and Italy (Cinque Terre)

I am looking for someone who isn't a party freak and likes cultural events and places and values history and art. Also, I love walking and hiking, but can do these at mostly a moderate level. I don't smoke, but it is fine if you do. I am not a picky eater, If you are not planning on trying new things and don't have a healthy adventurous spirit we may not make a good travel match.

Let me know if you are interesting in joining me! I would love to meet someone with travel bug as big as mine.

Hey bsnodgrass JP here:

Be glad your not going in march way to cold to see the sights etc. I have another option for you other then hostels or camping try couchsurfing.com it's a really cool concept couch surfing.. You find local hosts and you CS. I plan on going the ukraine that way in Aug.. where they have a big party on the black Sea. If you change your month and add the Ukraine let me know.

Thanks for the advice. I have actually heard of couch surfing and would do it if I was traveling with someone. I guess I'm a chicken, but I just don't feel safe doing it alone.

Im really interested in all those places and going to them and I dont smoke at all. Im 40 and have a real zest for life. I like to stay at hostels and I dont party on a continuel basis. I enjoy seeing and interacting in the cultures. I am able to do this in July. Lets see how it works? Also what about bus its cheaper then a train.

Adri :)

I have been wanting to travel for a while but I would hate to go by myself because I would be too afraid. I thought about spain but ur trip sounds fun. I would love to visit those places. My summer is open so I don't have a specific time. Let me know if your interested in traveling together. Thanks!
