...It has taken awhile to gather up all the pirates from the assorted jewelry stores in Utrecht. (They are soooo easily distracted by sparklies.) But, now that everyone is back aboard the Martini Blimp, another hasty trip is called for. A birthday is almost over in the Land Down Under and the captain hopes for strong trade winds...

"Captain, shouldn't we have proverbially set sail yesterday?" "Aye Matey, we should have but you saw how hard it was to pry everyone away from the sparklies. It's hard to fly this thing by myself. Crank up the wind machine and see if we can speed up this trip!" With that, the crew gets to work. As though by magic... "Captain! I think we've spied our destination! I'm sure I saw a kangaroo do there." "I do believe you are correct, Matey. By God, that is a kangaroo! Let's land this thing!" Again, like magic, the Martini Blimp sets down in the clearing just in front of the Daams Dungeon of the Doomed in the Forest Of The Not-So-Forgotten-As-Isa-Not-Being-Home-Yesterday.

Knock. Knock.
"Who is it?", comes a voice from behind the big titanium doors.
"It is I, Captain Isa and the band of piratey people who follow me around."
"We gave at the office."
"The pirates and I are here to see the birthday boy. Please let us in as we're running a bit late already."
"No one is home."
"Yes, they are. We can hear the voices and you're talking to us."
"No. I'm not."
"Yes, you are."
"No. I'm not."

With that, Captain Isa decides to storm the Dungeon of the Doomed. Just as the pirates all take a run at the big titanium doors, they open, causing the crew to tumble down the stairs and land in front of the birthday boy... Though looking quite stunned from the tumble, the crew realizes who's standing in front of them and they do what they do best...

Travelling in a fried-out combie
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said,

"Do you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."

Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscle
I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich
And he said,

"I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men chunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover." (Yeahhh!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's hoping you have (or soon to be had) a wonderful day (Jan. 24th) filled with friends, family, time out of the dungeon, lots of Beeristani beer (notice the special Overlord label designed for just this occasion) and cool breezes!!!!!!!

...And, as the crew try to remember all of the lyrics to Land Down Under, Captain Isa wanders off to the martini bar in the super sub basement of the Daams Dungeon of the Doomed...

.........and in a flash of extraordinarily bright sparklie light, surrounded by all the semi-drunken pirates from the Martini Blimp who are nursing bruises received when fell down the stairs of the Daams Dungeon of the Doomed in the Forest of The Not-So-Forgotten-As-Isa-Not-Being-Home-Yesterday (accompanied by Beerman-Who-Was-Also-Not-Being-Home-Yesterday) and the Entire Ensemble Orchestra of Greater Downtown Munich complete with an additional cadre of tuba players, comes Beerman, resplendent in his finest massively luxuriant chestwig, green speedos, and knee-high green Riverdance booties..........

Halllllooooooo, Mr. Overlord-Who-Is-Not-From-A-Land-Down-Under, Master of nearly all Travellerspoints things, shared partner with tiny brothers-who-may-or-may-not-be-attached-to-Master-Overlord-At-Pinkies, it is I, Beerman, here to make run-on sentences and Happy at you on this, Your Still-Mostly-Happiest-Of-Happy-Days!!!!! Yay!!!!!! Say, you are make nice improvements to Dungeon of Doomed since last Beerman was here to make Happy at you. Is new stonework installed on flooring and walls? Newish tapestries featuring backpackerperson covered in skull-and-crossbone tattoos is very nice touch. Who is decorator? Beerman may consult person of such stylish taste and character to re-decorate old Beermine in Greater Downtown Beeristan. Is much attractiveness for Dungeon. Beerman is especially admiring new shelving unit from Ikea to hold highly polished handcuff chains, cats-of-nine-tails, and twenty-five 70,000 cm flat screen HD monitors for making view of website for travel persons. There is unusual aroma coming from torture kitchen area though......it is smelling very familiar like Formosa Oolong from Serenity Teahouse brewing in Steampunk Teapot.......it makes remind Beerman to send Beeristani military, three Generals and large dog named Philo, to overtake and conquer Formosa in bloodless military campaign so tea supply does not overtake beer supply in world.

And now, the moment you have maybe not been waiting for, the bruised pirates and Beerman himselfs will make Happy Song to make celebrate day of beerth of Master Overlord person.....make to hit it boys....and this time with more harmony and gusto fitting of rum-thirsty dreaded pirate peoples....

There's a garden, what a garden
Only happy faces bloom there
And there's never any room there
For a worry or a gloom there

Oh there's music and there's dancing
And a lot of sweet romancing
When they play the polka
They all get in the swing

Every time they hear that com-pa-pa
Everybody feels so tra-la-la
They want to throw their cares away
They all go lah-de-ah-de-ay

Then they hear a rumble on the floor, the floor
It's the big surprise they're waiting for
And all the couples form a ring
For miles around you'll hear them sing

Roll out the barrel, we'll have a barrel of fun
Roll out the barrel, we've got the blues on the run
Zing boom tararrel, ring out a song of good cheer
Now's the time to roll the barrel, for the gang's all here

Da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da

Then they hear a rumble on the floor-or-or-or
It's the big surprise they're waiting for
And all the couples they form a ring
For miles around you'll hear them sing

Drree mopado theedo da-da-da-da

Roll it out, roll it out, roll out the barrel
Da-da-da da-da da-da da-da-da-da-da
Sing a song of good cheer
'Cause the whole gang is here
Roll it out, roll it out
Let's do the beer barrel polka

Is nice, yes? Good job boys of pirate nature!! Now, Master Overlord person, please to accept these large yet humble trinkets from fashion collection of Beerman Enterprises.....as usual, bright green speedo (with additional bulge insert) and massively luxuriant chestwig for to make even greater sexual impression on woman person who has made bear of lovely children for the Master and who makes cook of meals. Yes, is always impressive, but please to make trust, woman will make Happy eyes at you when you are dressed as such.

.......and in a similarly brilliant flash of sparklie light, Beerman is gone, insearch of lovely Captain Isa who is no doubt having found Martini bar in Dungeon of Doomed and may be receptive to wiles of massively luxuriant chestwig......

Thanks all. I realise I answered Miles thread, but not this one yet. Anyway, had a great day! Perfect weather, some lunch at the Yarra Glen pub, followed by some live music outside. It was all pretty low key, but very enjoyable.
