Dear Gagan,

4 days / 3 night? When you will be in HK?

- Wong Tai Sin Temple is a must if you have not a special religion....
- Temple Street which is very famous, please visit there at night….
- Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui – the best shopping location

- Star Ferry to Central from Tsim Sha Tsui ( I suppose you will stay in Kowloon side)
- Peak train to Victoria Peak
- If Sunday , entry the jockey club is a good choice? (I think that Happy Valley Jockey club is quite beauty and test how your luck XD)
- Causeway Bay – Good for shopping….

- Ferry to lamma Island, a peaceful place in hong kong....
- Sea food is very famous =P , you can enjoy a day in there

- No Disney land how about going to ocean park?( just kidding XD)

What you want to do / see in Hong kong…
This is only a very casual itin….^^”

Hi

Me and my boyfriend have just been to Hong Kong, loved it. We stayed in Kowloon. I would miss out of the 'bargain' accommodation in the Chung King Mansions as they were pretty dire! I would totally advise staying at the Hop Inn which is a bargain and the rooms are fabulous all with individual designs, and perfect location.

We aren't into temples, so did things such as the Peak, but if you go try and make it on a clear day, we went up when it was misty and there was NO view! haha But we went to the WonderFish spa up there which was brilliant! You can see it on Trip Advisor, highly recommended!! We went to the Happy Valley Racecourse, but make sure there is a race on at the racetrack as when we went the races were just played on the screen, no actual horses!!! lol Didnt stop us from betting lots still...

Kowloon Park is a lovely place for a stroll if you want a relaxing afternoon or something. (literally 2 minute walk from the Hop Inn) And the night markets are great fun for picking up some bargains.

We spent a day on Lamma Island. Get the bargain Ferry from Pier 6 (i think) on Hong Kong Island (central). If you go early enough you can do the walk, which has beautiful views, and there is a gorgeous beach too, and as mentioned wonderful seafood at the end of it! One of my fave things we did there.

Also check out the nightly sound and light show from the avenue of the stars on Kowloon. 8pm they have a huge light show from loads of the buildings on both sides of the harbour, its brill! And free :)

I wish we had gone to the New Territories though, as they have some lovely areas to visit such as the wetlands park. But we ran out of time.

We did go to Disneyland too and it was ace haha
